All change, kind of...

Just a reminder for those at OTCC that this evening is our 6 monthly 'Forum' at 7.30pm in Glyn and Emma's house. Come and hear about the gentle transition from Jo and Susie to Glyn and Emma being our main paid leaders. We'll also be reviewing the past 6 months and giving updates on other things that are happening over the next few months. These include the latest on our church time away which for the first time we're planning in the summer, 1st - 3rd June 2011. 

We hope to see lots of you there this evening.

Welcome to the new OTCC web log

This blog is an experiment. As an inclusive church we do not want to exclude those in our congregation or community who don't have internet access. At the same time this could be a useful space to share ideas and vision.

OTCC is in a time of change and growth. God is doing some remarkable things in us, with us and through us. Over the next few months Jo and Susie will be stepping back from full time leadership and in their 'retirement' will hopefully enjoy being grandparents in our church family. By the end of December Glyn and Emma, who have been with us since the beginning of this year (2010), will have taken on most of the responsibilities that Jo and Susie currently have.

This blog is for Glyn and Emma and others on the leadership team to share our thoughts, items of news, and what we feel God is asking of us as a church. Please take the opportunity to comment by replying to any of the posts. And let us know whether you think having a church blog is a good idea or not.
